Inside the Shenzhen Robot Factory That's Reinventing CNC

Thanks to NestWorks for sponsoring this video and showing us around! To learn more about the NestWorks C500 CNC mill and back their Kickstarter, go to: https://nestworks-c500.kckb.me/a6548619 (affiliate link)

Elephant Robotics in Shenzhen was spending over a million dollars a year on custom machined parts. But they couldn't find a CNC that met their needs, so they decided to build their own. I visited their offices and workshops, dug into the robots they’re building, and followed the story of how that pain led to a new kind of CNC they’re calling NestWorks. We get into why traditional CAM is such a mess, how they’re trying to make CNC feel more like using a 3D printer, and what it actually takes to design and build a machine tool from scratch.
